1. Introduction

Welcome to PolyRadar ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website at polyradar.io (the "Website") and subscribe to our newsletter distributed via Substack (collectively, the "Service").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

We collect minimal personal information. Here is what we may collect and how:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter (free or premium) through Substack
  • Name — if optionally provided during Substack subscription
  • Payment information — if you subscribe to our premium plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Substack and its payment processor (Stripe). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information
  • Communications — if you contact us via email or respond to our newsletter, we may retain the content of that communication

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Website, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:

  • Device information — browser type, operating system, device type
  • Usage data — pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, click patterns
  • IP address — may be collected by our analytics and hosting providers for security and analytics purposes
  • Newsletter engagement data — open rates, click-through rates, and similar metrics collected by Substack

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

For the avoidance of doubt, PolyRadar does not:

  • Access, connect to, or monitor your crypto wallets
  • Collect trading history, portfolio data, or financial account information
  • Collect biometric data
  • Collect Social Security numbers or government-issued identification
  • Knowingly collect information from children under 18

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Deliver the Service — send you our free and/or premium newsletter editions
  • Communicate with you — respond to your inquiries, send service-related announcements (e.g., changes to terms, new features)
  • Improve the Service — analyze usage patterns and engagement data to improve content quality, user experience, and website performance
  • Ensure security — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
  • Comply with legal obligations — fulfill legal requirements and respond to lawful requests from authorities

We will never use your email address to send unsolicited marketing emails unrelated to the Service. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. Period.

We have never sold personal data and have no plans to do so.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers — we use third-party services that process data on our behalf to operate the Service (see Section 8). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us
  • Legal Requirements — we may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process (subpoena, court order, or government request)
  • Protection of Rights — we may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of PolyRadar, our users, or the public
  • Business Transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Email subscribers — your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscribing, your email is removed from our active mailing list. Substack may retain certain data in accordance with their own retention policies
